Another good night at the Old King's Head - not only good bands, but free booze as well!  The place has just got a new stage installed - it was only finished 20 minutes before the first band of the night were playing on it!

In So Far are on great form at the moment, and as they are in the middle of a long tour they are very tight. Tonight is their 'Single Release Party' for the new CD - the band have also managed to land Jagermeister sponsorship so this was set to be a good night.

There were free goodie bags handed out containing loads of In So Far and Jagermeister freebies - plus numerous  free Jagermeister shots throughout the evening - all good stuff!

The house PA looks quite modest, but In So Far sound terrific tonight and the sound quality put many bigger and better known London venues to shame. The turnout was the second best I've seen at this new venue, and included a couple of guitarist Hannah's former bandmates from her previous band Candyheads.

Local band Cato Street Conspiracy finished off the evening with a tight set of their slightly emo tinged Wildhearts influenced rifferama.

It was a good night all round, and very nice to go to a London venue with cheap door prices and reasonably priced drinks along with a friendly atmosphere.
This venue in Holloway Road later became The Gaff and was really cool for a couple of years until closing to become a Costa coffee joint. That's closed now too...
