Fables Last Stand had travelled about three hundred miles just to play this gig in Camden - so the least I could do was travel around twelve miles to see the Geordie boys play. They were headlining so there were some other bands on first - I don't know who any of them were as they didn't announce themselves and there were no posters visible to give any clues. The most memorable one was a pop/punky three piece girl band. They were quite lively, but their songs didn't make a great impression. Fables Last Stand made it well worth the trip on this Tuesday night as this was the best of their three London shows to date. There was a reasonable turnout for a midweek gig and the band made the most of playing a decent sized stage at their biggest London show so far. I suspect very few people present knew who the band were, but they certainly won people over with their performance and some girls were impressed enough to say they would definitely be going to their London gig next month. |
These Blogs mainly deal with the countless gigs I go to, but there is some other stuff in there too - and the odd rant! I've just finished adding over 900 of my old posts from MySpace on here - everything is now on proper chronological order from 2005 to date - there is a LOT to read. Some of the older links may not work anymore - just click on the highlighted text for links to more info.
