After spending most of this year wondering if I would get to see the mighty AntiProduct at all in 2006 - now I get to see them twice in London in one week! I arrive at the Borderline before the support band go on for a change. As the gig had supposedly 'sold out' some time ago I was surprised to find there was hardly anyone there when I walked into the club around 8.15. Things had picked up a bit by the time In So Far took to the stage. This was the first time I'd seen the new incarnation of the band. The new rhythm section sound tight and the full electric set sounded great - much better than the muddy sounding acoustic set I saw at the AntiProduct party earlier in the week. The venue had filled up quite a bit by the time AntiProduct hit the stage, although it was still only about half full. I suspect so many guestlist places had been reserved for industry and media types (who as usual mostly didn't bother to turn up) that there simply weren't that many tickets left over for the fans - hence a 'sold out' but half empty club? It's a shame, as all those who weren't present (for whatever reason) missed a great show! Pretty much straight away crazed frontman A.Product took over the room and was climbing over the furniture... Diving into the crowd... Was he going for the beer in the left of the shot? The set was a mixture of old and new, and of course forthcoming single 'Good Vibrations' was played, as was another cover - 'The Timewarp'.
Hot guitar playing...
Hot guitar player...
I'd like to meet his dentist. Or maybe not.
Milena shows that she has a cool guitar too...

These Blogs mainly deal with the countless gigs I go to, but there is some other stuff in there too - and the odd rant! I've just finished adding over 900 of my old posts from MySpace on here - everything is now on proper chronological order from 2005 to date - there is a LOT to read. Some of the older links may not work anymore - just click on the highlighted text for links to more info.
