Big Num get to play to quite a decent sized crowd at the Hope & Anchor this time. There are one or two new songs - less obviously AC/DC influenced than much of their other material. However, the most noticable change is Luke's new guitar - he's using a Stratocaster instead of one of his usual Gibsons. This gives a clearer tone, but as Vic is playing a Telcaster the band sound thinner and more lightweight tonight. The band's energetic set goes down well with the crowd - it seems to contain more Big Num fans than usual. It's good to see the band playing to a fairly full room - they certainly deserve it after the work they have put in so far. |
These Blogs mainly deal with the countless gigs I go to, but there is some other stuff in there too - and the odd rant! I've just finished adding over 900 of my old posts from MySpace on here - everything is now on proper chronological order from 2005 to date - there is a LOT to read. Some of the older links may not work anymore - just click on the highlighted text for links to more info.
