It's back to one of Camden's more intimate venues, this time to see Men & Gods. It's still light when I arrive at Tommy Flynn's, but fortunately by the time the band take to the stage it's quite late and it has got dark, which provides a much more suitable atmosphere.

As it was a rare warm summer night I travelled light and so you'll have to make do with pictures from my phone.

Actually on this occasion I think even though the picture quality is poor, my phone actually gives a good impression of the gig's intimate atmosphere.

The band play well as usual and it's a good show to watch as well as to listen too. This band's gigs are always interesting as there is no setlist and they just make it up as they go along - going where the mood takes them.

Marc said beforehand that they might throw in a cover at the end - as they do occasionally. They finish with a rather fine Hendrix cover - if you can imagine what it might have sounded like if Led Zepellin played 'Voodoo Chile' then you've got some idea what it was like. Another fine evening's entertainment.
PS: This pub later became 'The Wheelbarrow'.
