A quick trip down to Kings Cross to see blues rockers Quick Ticket To Nowhere. No one else of interest on at the Water Rats tonight, but this lot make the trip worthwhile. Their powerful Joplin-esque vocals and Led Zep vibe on songs like 'Killing Floor' go down well with this venue's usually more indie loving crowd. Their version of 'Bullfrog Blues' is a belter as well! |
