	I like to spend Christmas Eve locally with my friends most times, and so it was in 2009. Local rock covers band Three were playing in The Builders Arms. It was free to get in and the band were really good. This pub also has some of the best beer in Barnet, although it's a bit on the pricey side. I had an excellent evening in there enjoying the music and having a few drinks with some of my oldest and best friends.  There was  good atmosphere in the the pub, and unlike last year it didn't shut at midnight.  It was nice to finally be able to relax a bit after the stress of Christmas shopping etc.
