	This band haven't been out and about gigging for a while - I was looking forward to seeing them at The Gaff in December but it got cancelled.  Tonight they are back at theWater Rats - not a venue I like as much, but at least it's easy to get to. Unfortunately the real ales are off tonight - they don't really seem to get it together here very often these days.  On the plus side, the gents toilets don't smell as disgusting as normal. The place isn't packed on this Thursday night, but there seem to be a quite few people here to see Cherry Brakewells. The faithful are rewarded by a good sound mix - better than normally heard at this venue. The band are on form as well, and turn in a very enjoyable set of their rock infused funk and soul - and surprise a few people by finishing their set with a heavy and soulful Led Zeppelin cover!
