It's a good bill at the Hope & Anchor tonight - it's almost like it's 12 Bar Club night, as all these bands play there. The turnout is quite decent. I don't arrive in time to see the Space Wasters, but I saw most of their set the other day at The Gaff anyway. The first band I see tonight is Toxic Slut.

A gig from this lot is quite a rare event these days, but it's still fun!

Their enthusiasm is infectious! They surprise me by throwning in an Aerosmith cover.

It's a shame this colourful and entertaining punk/pop band don't get out and play more often these days.

The band finish off their set with a rousing cover of the Quireboys 'Sex Party'.

After having to miss half of their set at The Gaff the other day, tonight I get to see the whole set.

Like the last band, this lot are also good fun!

The band tear through their set of Elvis covers and go down well with the crowd.  Towards the end of their set they are joined by the Space Wasters lead singer for a song as well.

Last band tonight is Camden's infamous Girls On Top This lot can easilly out-sleaze anyone from this city's current glut of sleaze rock bands...

The world of Girls On Top is very sordid and sleazy!

The band play a wise selection of songs from their three albums to date.

It's a good night's entertainment for only about a fiver, and the beer upstairs is excellent!
