	This Sunday night finds me back at Holloway Road's best value for money (by far) venue.  Fortunately I don't have to leave Nambucca early to catch the last tube this time - unlike last time Shush were playing here. Singer Milena turns in a spirited performance! The band are on good form tonight - they don't seem to do bad shows. Their polished brand of catchy pop/rock goes down well with the assembled punters. It would have been nice if a few more people had showed up though. To be fair, gig attendances are always lower in the middle of the holiday and festival season as so many people are away or just skint. Shush don't let things like this get them down, and turn in a rousing rendition of their song 'Fuck You' as if to send a message to all those lightweights who don't want to go out on a 'School Night'. It's good to see this lively band out and about and playing more regularly again these days - and this time I'm glad to say I got to see their whole set!

PS: This venue closed unexpectedly in early 2014 - without a fire this time.
