This band seem to almost have a residency at the Bull & Gate these days - it seems to be the only place they ever play. However, no two Men & Gods shows are ever the same so I keep going back to see them. They are certainly one of the most interesting bands around to watch as well as to listen to - giving off what I imagine would be a similar vibe to seeing Led Zeppelin in their early days, although they sound nothing like them. More new songs from the band's forthcoming album are being added to the set - helping to keep things fresh. After this we rush off to try and catch Metalworks at The Monarch in nearby Camden, but by the time we get there the band are just finishing. Fortunately the bar is still open so all is not lost, and a good night is had by all. |
These Blogs mainly deal with the countless gigs I go to, but there is some other stuff in there too - and the odd rant! I've just finished adding over 900 of my old posts from MySpace on here - everything is now on proper chronological order from 2005 to date - there is a LOT to read. Some of the older links may not work anymore - just click on the highlighted text for links to more info.
