	A bit of an odd night at the Rhythm Factory this. Due to some problem with missing drum hardware or something the band take to the stage really late.  As it's after midnight I very nearly have to leave without seeing them to catch the last tube home. Having seen Honeykill many times I wasn't sure quite what to expect. There have been major changes to the lineup since I last saw the band - in fact frontman Jimi is the only person remaining since last time I saw them. Apparently they now have a brass section, but tonight there is only a single girl playing sax. Bass player Tish has gone and not been replaced - seeing a rock band without a bass player is very strange as something is so obviously missing.  New keyboard player Rob is good though. One thing that hasn't changed much is the setlist - people who have seen Honeykill before will find most of the songs are familiar, although some have been reworked somewhat. There are one or two new songs though, so Jimi has obviously not been idle in the songwriting department. The individual members play well enough and their performances can't really be faulted, but Honeykill certainly doesn't have the same vibe it used to have - it just doesn't seem like a proper band at the moment. It will be interesting to see how things progress with Honeykill from here... I would have liked to hang around for a bit of a chat, but the East End isn't the easiest place to get home from if you live on the extreme northern edge of London and miss the last tube, so I had to leg it to avoid the horrors of multiple night buses.
