Back to The Gaff for the first time in a few weeks - someone has actually cleaned the toilets! Maybe one day they will actually repair the hand drier as well - even the Purple Turtle has one working most the time these days. Still no real ales on the hand pumps, and the bottled ale selection is now down to just the old faithful Newcastle Brown, but at least the prices are better than other music venues. Anyway, I didn't come here just to drink beer (even if I may give the impression of being a piss-artist) and I'm actually out on this Wednesday night to see Ferocity Lights. They are good fun tonight and seem to be enjoying themselves. This band have some catchy alt/grunge influenced tunes and worth checking out - they might even give you a free copy of their 'Window Seat To Hell' album if you take the trouble to go and see them. |
These Blogs mainly deal with the countless gigs I go to, but there is some other stuff in there too - and the odd rant! I've just finished adding over 900 of my old posts from MySpace on here - everything is now on proper chronological order from 2005 to date - there is a LOT to read. Some of the older links may not work anymore - just click on the highlighted text for links to more info.
